United States Court of Appeals
for the Eleventh Circuit,
No. 22-12335,
filed August 19, 2024
In this case, Taxinet Corp. sued Santiago Leon
asserting a number of claims related to a joint
effort to gain a government concession for a
taxi-hailing app in Mexico City. The
appeals court ruled that the district court did
not abuse its discretion in ruling that most of
Taxinet’s evidence of the venture’s
valuation at trial constituted inadmissible
hearsay and should not have been admitted.
